Minerals Leaching In
Here we can see one of the places the the minerals were leaching into this small geode.
Inside a Geode
This is a small geode, the purple specs are actuall caused by water leaching mineral deposits from the outter shell onto the growing internal chrystals. Given enough time (thousands to millions of years) the chrystals would eventually all turn purple. This geode also has some kind of anomily captured within it, possibly metalic.
